Mission Project – UMCOR Cleaning Kit Assembly - Sponsored by Conference UMW & UMM
UMCOR Cleaning Buckets enable people to begin the overwhelming task of cleaning up after a natural disaster, such as a flood, hurricane or tornado. UMCOR Cleaning Buckets may be the only supplies available soon after the disaster.
Please plan to donate 1 or more of the items below. We will collect items until June 9 and then they will be delivered to Annual Conference at the Classic Center in Athens to be assembled.
Cleaning Bucket Items Needed:
5 scouring pads, 7 sponges, 1 scrub brush, 18 cleaning towels, liquid laundry detergent (50 ounces), household cleaner (12-16 ounces), disinfectant dish soap (17-28 ounces), 50 clothes pins, clothes line (100 feet), 5 dust masks, 2 pair latex or rubber gloves, 1 pair work gloves, 24 roll of 30-45 gallon trash bags, insect repellant spray (6-14 ounces), air freshener (8-9 ounce can). Drop off supplies in the church Banquet Hall by June 9.
Everyone is also encouraged and invited to help assemble the cleaning kits on Wednesday, June 12 at 5:45 p.m., in the hall outside the Grand Hall facing Foundry Street.

Father's Day Souvenir
The United Methodist Women will sponsor a Father’s Day souvenir bulletin on June 16 in honor or in memory of your/a father. Cost is $1 per listing. Proceeds will go toward their service projects. Contact any member of the UMW or drop this form in the offering plate or mail to the church at P.O. Box 30, Winterville, GA 30683
