Volunteers Needed - Forms for the North Georgia Conference, June 17-20 are on the bulletin board.

The Seekers Adult Sunday School Class will begin a study on prayer, Sunday, April 6th. We will be discussing, "If You Will Ask, Reflections on the Power of Prayer by Oswald Chambers. Adult 18 and over are welcome to join us.

Newsletter Articles are due by the 3rd Monday of each Month.

Reminder: Neighborhood Welcome Watch Program brochures are available to give to new families moving into your neighborhoods. Keep one in your car. Take one to work and give to a co-worker. Let's use 'em!

Cookbooks are on Sale and are $10.00 each. See any member of Women In Action.

Relay for Life
We are in the process of putting together a team or the Clarke County Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The Relay will be May 16 - 17, 2008 at Cedar Shoals High School. Everyone is invited to join our team, even if you feel you can't walk the night of the Relay. If you would like more info call Shari Irwin 788.3626 or shariirwin@yahoo.com.

If you have not already signed up to acknowledge yourself or a loved one the evening of Relay, forms will be available at the dinner. Luminaries and torches can be purchased to honor caner survivors and caregivers and in memory of cancer victims. A special photo presentation on a huge projection screen will be offered at the Athens relay for the first time ever.

Tool Box Ministry
The Men's Group has a Tool Box Ministry for anyone needing a small job done around the house that you need help in completing. Please call the church office at 742-2445.

Church Office Hours - The office will open at 9:30 am and close at 2:30 pm Tuesdays. The other days will be 9 am to 1 pm.

Reminder: Please completely turn off cell phones and pagers during the worship service as they tend to interfere with our sound system.

River of Life Fundraiser. Save your discarded cell phones, inkjet cartridges, and now also old DVD movies or games. This is an on-going project to raise money for our annual River of Life mission project. Please bring them to the church office. More...

Prayer Chain - Anyone interested in becoming connected to our church prayer chain by email, please call the church office at 742-2445 or email us at ksmith@wintervilleumc.org with your email address. We will also notify our church community about emergencies and deaths in our church family.

Save Aluminum Cans - We are collecting aluminum cans. Please drop them off outside the fellowship hall in plastic bags. All proceeds go directly into the Building Fund for the addition to our church. Call the office if you have any questions.
